Simobil Basketball Game: Case Study

For FIBA European Basketball Championship (EuroBasket) in Slovenia, we have presented Simobil Vodafone with an engaging online and mobile game of shooting hoops with a charity twist. Each successful throw was worth one cent.
The campaign was named “BE A GIANT”. A team can have several excellent players, but the best player is always the TEAM. Thus, we can be A GIANT together. While watching the EuroBasket, each viewer also had the opportunity to raise money through shooting hoops (one score = one cent), which was later donated by Simobil to those in need.
This campaign was also supported on social networks. In-game advertising and smart brand positioning were an additional element that completed the campaign image. The mobile version of the game was designed in HTML5.
